SyncLight
For the person looking after someone else, who needs to know whether the number on the screen is still the number.
What it is for
The picture of someone's diabetes data is usually scattered. A reading. A pump. A connection. A time. SyncLight is a caregiver's place to see that status without touring every system that holds a piece of it.
It works around data from systems such as Dexcom and Tandem. It is not their product, and it does not stand in for their devices.
- Current
The data has arrived recently enough to treat the picture as now.
- Waiting
A system has not checked in. The quiet is the information.
- Stale
What is on screen is old. It is not a new glucose value, and it is not a new device status.
What it keeps in view
- Caregiver dashboard One place for the person watching.
- Glucose and status The reading, and the context around it.
- Data freshness Whether a Dexcom reading is recent.
- Pump status Room for pump status, including data associated with Tandem.
- Alerts The change that should come forward.
- Diagnostics The state of the connection, visible instead of implied.
What it is not
SyncLight does not replace a sensor, a pump, a clinician, or care. It does not decide treatment. It does not promise an outcome. It helps a caregiver tell a current picture from a stale one.
